The youngest was the first one out the door this morning to tackle the digging out process. I think the driveway had been plowed once at this point.
This is the view from the back steps. It took some shoving to get the back door open because of the drift in front of it.

The predictions were for 2-4". This is the front railing. Looks like about 6-7" to me!

So, needless to say, church was cancelled this morning. The message left by one of the elders was to take time this morning and meditate on how God cleanses us from our sins like God cleanses with the snow.

Wisconsin is a frozen tundra too, and we usually get YOUR snow a few days later...Ha! But I like the seasons, was born and raised in WI.

We have not had this much snow and bitter, cold for several years. Last year was really quite mild. Funny part of it is a fellow Joe sees when wALKING Spunky said the farmers almanac predicted this would happen and be widespread. Our weatherman said just a few minutes ago that it could be 40 degree windchill tomorrow night and snow.
